Tablespoon recently attended Sage Transform, an event that brought together Sage customers, partners, and industry experts to explore the latest trends and advancements in accounting and finance. Held in Las Vegas, Sage Transform spanned four days of insightful keynotes, engaging panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. Below are some takeaways from our Director of Sales, Alex Glass, and CEO, Andrew Lester.

Apart from networking with marketplace partners and clients, the most significant takeaway from the event is what's in store for the product roadmap. This includes the newly rebuilt Sage Intacct Planning module, Sage Copilot, and the continued emphasis on responsible AI to automate mundane accounting tasks.

Human Accountability

"It's clear Sage's vision for the future relies heavily on recoding some of the older stand-alone modules to be better integrated with Sage Intacct, leveraging AI to power more automation and efficiencies while also being anticipatory rather than reactionary, and expanding the use of APIs to integrate the product with other ancillary products further," said Alex Glass.

Sage's Chief Technology Officer, Aaron Harris, continues to inspire and push Sage into a new realm of innovation. "Yes, we heard a lot about AI, but 'human accountability' was at the forefront of the conversation. Sage is committed to solving real-world business problems through innovation while ensuring that new features are functional," said Andrew Lester.

Other exciting updates from Sage revolve around:

  • Fixed Asset Management
  • Sage's Budget and Planning Module
  • AP Automation
  • And so much more!

About Sage's Copilot:

Sage's new AI-powered productivity assistant, Sage Copilot, acts as a trusted team member, handling administrative and repetitive tasks in 'real-time' while recommending ways for customers to create more time and space to focus on growing and scaling their businesses. Sage Copilot automates workflows, identifies errors, and generates actionable insights that meet the needs of businesses and accountants. Sage Copilot helps with forecasting, cashflow management and generating and sending invoices with simple, natural language commands. Sage Copilot's accuracy, security, and trust have been prioritized every step of the way, combined with expert support, robust encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Networking with Partners and Clients

Beyond the keynotes and sessions, Sage Transform also provided ample opportunities for networking and collaboration amongst Tablespoon clients, Sage partners, and marketplace partners.

"We had a great dinner with our client, Tomtreyco. Although we did not learn anything new about McDonald's corporate initiatives, we were able to discuss their business and explore ways to leverage Sage Intacct or other related partners further," said Alex Glass.

Andrew Lester participated on a Sage panel with other Sage partners. Sage Transform provides an excellent opportunity for partners to connect and collaborate. "I'm excited for what the future holds for our restaurant group clients," said Andrew Lester.
