Meet Brian Norwood! He's Tablespoon's newest Senior Account Executive. We are excited to tell you more about him and how he's helping Tablespoon's clients.
I’m a Texas native through and through. Dallas is where I grew up and met my wife, but Austin is where we've built our life over the last 27 years. Outside of city life, my favorite way to recharge is heading out to the country to help tend to my brother's expanding herd of Longhorn cattle.
As Senior Account Executive at Tablespoon, I help multi-unit hospitality operators streamline their businesses. By delivering real-time insights, automating manual processes, and eliminating data silos, I empower quick- and full-service concepts to maximize efficiency, capture market opportunities, and drastically simplify their operations.
With over 20 years of sales experience—most recently on the Sage Intacct Direct team—I specialize in partnering with complex, multi-location, and multi-entity organizations. My background spans diverse industries with operational dynamics very similar to the hospitality vertical. I am genuinely driven by solving complex business challenges. By deeply understanding my clients' motivations and ideal outcomes, we can co-create solutions that provide meaningful impacts on both their business performance and their employees' daily lives.
I joined Tablespoon because of its deep, uncompromised hospitality expertise. Instead of being a generalist, Tablespoon focuses entirely on the hospitality industry and goes far beyond standard software sales. By offering comprehensive managed services and accounting support, they ensure clients are fully taken care of long-term. This unwavering focus on customer success perfectly aligns with my own personal and professional values.
Tablespoon's expertise and hyper-focus on customer success delivers a true partnership. Instead of relying on generalist implementation teams, Tablespoon focuses exclusively on one vertical. Being part of a team with that caliber of reputation and specialized expertise is highly important to me.
Choosing just one favorite food is impossible! If I must narrow it down, it’s Freebirds, Franklin Barbecue or an authentic Mexican spot. BBQing is a major part of our weekend routine here in Texas, whether I'm smoking brisket, ribs or searing steaks. Not to feed into the classic Texas stereotype, but my family actually raises Longhorns—so we always have plenty of high-quality Longhorn steaks ready for the grill.
