1. Download the Options Symbols. This is an Excel Spreadsheet formated file. View the CBOE's overflow symbol list for Index Options.

2. Here are some lists that can help you get started using the Trader's Access Software. You can download these lists and put them in the Taw folder. Next, run the Trader's Access Program and go to File:Open and you will see the list that you downloaded and saved in the TAW folder. .

3. View the latest available Futures Spreads (06/08/2005)

4. Symbol Helper - (symman.zip 32kb) Basic symbol building guide for Trader's Access (DOES NOT contain complete list of all securities)

5. Inet Ascii stripper - (inetstrp.exe 46kb) this program will remove the symbol identifier from Trader's Access internet data files. Data files must first be UNZIPPED and must be placed in the same directory as the ascsplit.exe program, then execute Ascsplit.exe indicate the path and file name for Trader's Access files, and it will remove the symbol identifier.

6. Tawstudy.ini - (tawstudy.zip 6kb) Fix for studies disappearing from Trader's Access. Download file to your windows directory overwriting the existing tawstudy.ini file. You will have to unzip the file once it is in your windows folder.

7. Split's - (splits.txt) For internet download customers a daily list of splits

8. Latest symbols file for the TAW program - SYMBOLS.ZIP (03/13/2003) - just download it in to the TAW folder on your hard drive and unzip it by typing: pkunzip symbols.zip

Each file is in an ASCII format as follows: Symbol,Date,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume,OpenInterest
The Daily Data files for Stock/Index Options with Bid and Ask (starting 5/16/2001) are formatted as follows: Symbol,Date,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume,OpenInterest.Bid,Ask,Strike Price, Month, Call or Put (Starting on 7/7/2003, this file will also contain Expiration Date, starting 7/21/2003, this file will also contain the root symbol as the last field. Starting on 8/11/2003, the next field is the closing price of the stock. Starting on 2/14/2007 the last field is the last trading date.)
